Roni Zongor & Co. is a design + tech studio founded by Roni Zongor MA artist designer and István Finta, PhD Computer Scince & Engineering.
We create full-scale visual communication from the logo to the web presence, from animations to data visualization. With our high level of design and technical expertise we can help to our customers create unique and smart creatives. We offer solutions from hand drawings to custom codes.

/ ABOUT

István Finta is the head of / TECH. István is passionate about natural sciences and software engineering. He can and like to communicate about different technologies to the wider audience in a clear and simple way. He has more than 20 years experience in the field of software development in multinational environment and more than 15 years experience in web technologies. He manages the less visible but essential parts of the business. He administers the backend servers, tracks the version changes, maintain the databases. He supervises the sites moves, executes updates and perform the quality checks.

He is responsible for the proper implementation of the stunning design on the front end and the reliable operation on the backend. He is in charge to pay attention to the details, in the level of pixel accuracy.
In his spare time István likes listening music, visiting art exhibitions, modelling interior design, cycling, skateing and hiking.

/ BEFORE

István is one of the co-founders of Roni Zongor and Co. However, before 2022 he had filled various technical, software- and research engineer positons at Bell Labs, Nokia and Deutsche Telekom as well. He has deep knowledge and wide experience in the fields of algorithms, data structures, distributed systems, big data and software engineering.
Parallel his PhD program István had leading role at Nokia Bell Labs in the field of quantum algorithm related researaches.
Prior to this István acted as a senior software engineer at Nokia's network business, where he also acted as an external/industrial thesis supervisor.
He was asked for reviewer several times for both scientific and student conferences.
He holds PhD from Computer Sciences and Engineering from Óbuda University. He is the author or co-author of more than 15 scientific papers and articles, which were presented and/or published in Budapest, Oxford, San Francisco, Paris, Helsinki, Las Vegas and Basel.
